10 Minute G-Code
A CNC router study of efficient G-code generation techniques for a variety of readily available, low cost materials for student use. The intent of this study was to offer the student body a means of understanding and demystifying the process of tool-path generation. From years of experience, CNC programmers can predict the quality of output for a multitude of materials and conditions relative to the programming of tool-path. Architectural students however, lack these years of conditioning and as such, this study serves as a physical foundation for students relative to the pragmatics of tool-path programming.
