Through collaborative effort with other colleagues at the NewSchool, the exhibit “AEH Conelrad Device” was shown at the San Diego Children’s Museum in 2010. It showcased two mobile and inhabitable camera obscuras geared toward teenage visitors. Teen angst and the perceptual confusion of scripted realities in light of current cultural and political warfare were all important facets of this piece. Traditional as well as digital fabrication methods were used to assist in the adaptive re-use of Vietnam era military artifacts.
